Purpose
The Deaconess Ministry provides leadership support in the areas of administration, operations and pastoral care.
Its members visit hospitals, make home visits to the sick and shut-in, the bereaved and the elderly. They prepare candidates for baptist; prepare communion; assist and prepare repasts for bereaved family members; counsel young women of the church and community; report to the pastor and ministry of deacons on the spiritual welfare of each group.
The Deaconess Ministry is under the leadership of Deaconess Teresa Boyd.
