Stewart Foundation for the purpose of extending the learning experience outside the classroom and keeping students on the road to a good education. Our guest for the day will include professional athlete Izell Jenkins of the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition, various seminars will be held during the day on the following topics: Juvenile Justice System, Gang Awareness, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention, etc. Lunch and healthy snacks will be provided. Basketball, Volleyball, and lots of other fun activities will be held!! Join us.
Education is very important to our organization. Drop-out Prevention will be the theme for this year’s student development day. We will have the CHOICE BUS from Birmingham Alabama. The Choice Bus is a tool created by The Mattie C. Stewart Foundation for the purpose of extending the learning experience outside the classroom and keeping students on the road to a good education.
